Information for Primary Care and Referring Providers
To make a referral to Starship Child Health
The preferred method is via e-referrals. Almost all General Practitioners (GPs) have access to this service. For the few GPs who do not have the e-referral system, fax the referral to the Central Referrals Office on (09) 638 0402.
For all inter-hospital, community paediatrician and hospital department referrals, fax to the Central Referrals Office on (09) 638 0402.
To see what kind of referral each department will accept, go to Healthpoint at www.healthpoint.co.nz (You will need a login to access the medical professionals part of the site).
