The New Zealand Paediatric Palliative Care Clinical Network with the support of the Ministry of Health have developed a set of guidelines for end-of life care, which can be accessed here.
As part of the guideline development, you can read about the background to the Clinical Guidelines Project, which introduces the components of the final report and briefly summarises key principles of palliative care delivery and the policy context. A care framework, which was developed as a component of this project, sets out a three-stage palliative care continuum.
