Ruby's Tea Towels
Bright, bold and delicious – collect them all
Former Starship patient and cancer survivor Ruby Seeto has been designing tea towels to raise funds for the Starship Foundation. The talented 22 year old has generated over half a million for Starship in a long-running collaboration with New Zealand’s Wallace Cotton linen brand since she embarked on this initiative.
As a grateful past patient, Ruby chooses to fund priority projects at Starship which are close to her heart, including the Oncology ward, the neonatal simulation programme, an international training fellowship for a Specialist Starship Oncologist and more recently co-funding a new Phlebotomy Laboratory, where around 600 children each month have blood samples taken.
Ruby’s 100% cotton tea-towels showcase bright and unique designs and often feature one of her favourite recipes. $6 per tea towel and $4 per wash cloth will be donated to the Starship Foundation and proceeds raised from her recent design, the Kiwi Breakfast Bowl for Starship, will go towards the purchase of a four screen digital wall as part of a transformative refurbishment underway within Starship’s Day Stay Unit.
