From the Cape to the Bluff, we must keep flying for New Zealand’s children

Starship Air Ambulance Hero

New Zealand’s only Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is at Starship. For children in places like Kaitaia, Palmerston North, and Invercargill, that’s a long way away.

By becoming a regular giver, you’re helping fund the Starship National Air Ambulance Service. Think of it as ‘PICU in the sky’. An intensive care doctor and nurse take all the equipment they’ll need, retrieve critically ill children from all over New Zealand, and bring them back to Starship.

At Starship, they receive care from a range of specialists and equipment found nowhere else in the country.

By becoming a regular giver, you’re helping to keep Starship flying. In fact, you’ll help almost 200 New Zealand children each year reach life-saving care.

Please become a regular giver now, and ensure our children can make it to PICU…no matter where they live.
