How to get there and where to park

Children's Emergency Department is signposted from the main Auckland Hospital entrance - follow the 'Adult and Children's Emergency' sign.

If you are not coming to Children's Emergency Department by ambulance, then it is best if you can get someone to drive you.

There is limited 10 minute parking available outside the Emergency Department while you take your child inside, register at the front desk and get assessed by the triage nurse. A nurse will stay with your child while you move your car to the main carpark, where normal parking charges will apply. Because it is difficult to predict how long you will need to be in the Emergency Department, parking costs can become expensive. It is better if someone can drop you off and pick you up when you are ready to return home.
