Opportunity to be part of a tertiary level children’s orthopaedic service
We have an outstanding opportunity for a locum paediatric orthopaedic surgeon with experience across general paediatric orthopaedics. A subspecialty interest in one or more areas such as paediatric musculoskeletal tumour, paediatric hand or limb deformity is also desirable. Experience with acute paediatric orthopaedic and trauma management /delivery of care is essential for this role, along with a high standard of clinical practice and the ability to inspire others within the team.
This position is full time and fixed term for 12 months covering parental leave.
As a senior member of the team you will be required to participate in the teaching and supervision of the RMO workforce and the on call roster (1 in 10).
The department is actively involved in clinical research and audit including national and international collaborative projects offering exciting opportunities in this area.
We welcome enquiries from orthopaedic surgeons who have completed a recognised fellowship training programme in paediatric orthopaedics.
