Medical Radiation Technologist (Radiographer) - Starship Children’s Health

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Radiographer for a full time MRT role based in Paediatric Radiology at Starship Children’s hospital

This is a permanent full time position involving shift work including weekends and night shift.

In this role you will be performing the full range of radiology procedures using the equipment available. The Radiology department at Starship is a filmless Department utilising both CR and DR and is equipped with three plain x-ray units, two DR, mobile image intensifiers and portables and an O arm. We have a Siemens Luminos Fluoroscopy unit and a Siemens Flash Definition CT and a Siemens Skyra 3T MRI. We provide imaging for Inpatients, Emergency Department and Outpatients as well as in the Starship Operating Rooms.

About you

To join our team, you must be eligible or registered as a Medical Radiation Technologists with the relevant registration board Previous paediatric experience would be beneficial but not vital, although an ability to relate well to children and caregivers is essential. You will be able to engage as a member of a small enthusiastic group and as the work involves some sole charge shifts, will have an ability to work unsupervised.
