Starship Community provides multidisciplinary care and cultural support to children, young people, their families and whānau living within the Auckland DHB area. The service has three locality based community teams, a central team and a hearing and ear health team. Our nursing, allied health and technical staff are responsible for delivering health care services to children, young people, their families and whānau in their home, school and community settings.

We are committed to delivering whānau-centered care that focuses on the health and wellbeing of children and their whanau. Getting to know our communities, working closely with them, removing inequities and barriers to health care for priority populations, are key drivers for us each day.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic leader to provide clinical and operational leadership to staff working in one of our three community locality teams.

To apply for this role you must have a strong sense of team and leadership. A commitment to delivering, and improving community based models of care with quality outcomes and objectives. It is essential that you have a current annual practicing certificate in your chosen profession and a clean full driver’s license.
