Community Fundraising Stars
Amazing things happen at New Zealand's national children's hospital every day and we are so thankful to have generous community fundraisers who give their time and effort to support the care these children receive. From bake sales, to coin trails, fun runs to marathon races; every little bit you do helps to give New Zealand's most critically ill and injured children the best possible chance.
As a charitable organisation, Starship Foundation exists through the generosity of the New Zealand public and leading organisations that lovingly donate money and/or time to assist Starship to remain at the forefront of paediatric care.
Find out about some of our community fundraising superstars:
School teacher by day and trail runner by night, Mina Holder will undertake a mammoth effort to run the length of New Zealand to fundraise for the Starship Foundation.
John and Rebecca's baby boy Maddox was diagnosed with Leigh's disease at five months old, a severe, progressive form of Mitochondrial disease.
Cole Bulkeley AKA Young King Cole, is one very kind soul. 9-year-old Cole has been fundraising for the children and families at Starship because as he says, "it just feels normal to help others".
