CT - Lower Extremities

For bilateral feet imaging, place grey cushion against headrest, rest feet gently on cushion securing feet with strap. Place a small plastic marker on right foot.

For longer scan range or an active child use Lower Extremity Fast (Child) or Lower Extremity Fast (Adult)

Indication For short scan range ie ankle, toes, feet etc
Patient Position - feet first
- supine
- region to be scanned should be secured in head rest if possible so region of interest is in the isocentre
