Resources for teens and young adults
The Clinical Network, in collaboration with Eli
Lilly & Company (NZ) is pleased to announce the collection of
"Streetwise" leaflets addressing youth-specific topics for
adolescent and young adult populations.
These youth friendly resources, originally created by the Royal College of Nursing, Children and Young People Diabetes Community in the United Kingdom, have been adapted by the Clinical Network for a New Zealand context. They are an excellent collection of tools in supporting diabetes teams to engage young people in discussing essential aspects of youth health and diabetes as part of the transition of care journey from paediatric/adolescent services throughout New Zealand.
