Starship Community is an interdisciplinary team of professionals providing nursing, allied health, technical and cultural support to children, young people and their families living within the Auckland DHB area. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic physiotherapist with a passion for paediatrics to join our team.

You will be working with children with developmental and disability needs aged 0-16 years, providing assessment and treatment programmes individually and in group settings . Children are seen for treatment in their homes, child care centres, school and other community settings such as providing hydrotherapy programmes.

This position offers an ideal opportunity for you to develop or extend your paediatric expertise, as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will benefit from regular formal supervision, peer review, collegial support and active participation in education and in-service programmes.

Am I eligible?

You will need to be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Experience working with children with disabilities is desired. The ability to work autonomously in a multi-cultural environment is essential.

Position description

This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday based out of Greenlane Clinical Centre. As the role is a community role, a full and clean NZ drivers licence is also required.
