Supporting Starship

We have so many needs and there are so many
ways you can help us make the impossible
possible for children's health.

Star Club

Show your loyal support - join the StarClub!
The Star Club began in 2004, and is made up of Starship supporters who give a set donation every month of the year, because of their heart-felt desire to:
  • Heal sick children
  • Provide a place of tender loving care
  • Advance critical paediatric medical treatment and research

Members also feel very connected with the hospital and our special patients. And the power of their combined gifts is remarkable. Look at what they've already funded in five years to help us save children's lives:
  • Apnoea monitors – vital for warning if a child stops breathing
  • A syringe driver – for automatic dispensing of intravenous medicine
  • The Starship Children's Research Centre
  • A portable surgical laser for the operating theatres
  • Paediatric intensive care cooling blankets

And now we're inviting you to join this amazing group of people.

Signing up is easy – click the button below to sign-up online, or call us on (09) 307 4957.

SIGN UP NOW!

It's convenient – you can choose the amount that fits into your monthly budget, and it will automatically be deducted from your credit card or account, reaching us safely at the same time each month.

You'll be helping us to be more efficient – knowing how much we can regularly count on, allows the hospital to plan ahead, and to improve and expand our healing reach to more children across New Zealand.

And you have flexibility – although your monthly giving doesn't have a set end-date, should you want to make any changes just give us a call.

Marina Jones & Charge Nurse Libby Barraclough with two of the Sleep Apnoea MonitorsWe'll also stay in touch, to keep you up to date and informed about the many ‘happenings' at Starship.

By signing up you'll be keeping company with people like Marina Jones. Marina has two sons and two grandsons and, ahead of the Club's time, has been giving her monthly gift to Starship for 10 years. She says, “There are so many kids out there who get sick, and they need our help to get better. I believe children are our future, so we need to look after them and make sure they have a healthy life.”

Please join the Star Club today. Your decision will make a major difference in helping to save and improve young lives.
