Donating Toys, Books and other Gifts
There are times when you may be able to make a gift other than money.
Starship Foundation welcomes this form of giving which helps provide those special touches that we would otherwise do without. With almost 100,000 children coming through Starship's doors each year, the demand for clothing, toys and equipment is constant. Also crucial is support for fundraising to help keep costs down and helps make our events and fundraising activities really special.
Supporting Starship
We are always delighted to receive gifts to help provide more comfort and support for Starship children and their families.
The following items can always be used and are in great demand:
· New books and toys (regretfully due to health and safety issues we cannot accept second hand items)
· New play equipment
· Teenage presents (ie games, books, puzzles for adolescents)
· New clothing
· New baby equipment including car chairs, strollers etc
· Food vouchers
Regretfully, we are not able to pick up gift in kind donations, so please bear this in mind before contacting us.
Supporting Fundraising
We organise a wide variety of fundraising activities and events each year ranging from gala dinners andballs to community and family events. The success of these events relies on the generosity and support of a huge number of individuals and organisations.
Some ways in which you can support these events and at the same time raise your company profile are:
· Financial Support or Sponsorship
· Corporate Hospitality
· Auction Prize Sponsorship
· Gift in Kind Support
· Tickets to entertainment and sporting events
Supporting Administration
· Pro Bono work
If you, your organisation or your company can provide any support with any of the above, we would love to hear from you.
