Friends of Starship
The Friends of Starship are hardworking, regionalised volunteers who work in closely with the Starship Foundation charity team. Their focus is on making life more comfortable for patients, their families and staff through community fundraising efforts. Examples of their superb events include:

Christmas Cracker House Tour: a two-day sneak preview into some of Auckland’s most exclusive homes decorated for Christmas by talented florists and interior designers.

Bag Ladies Brunch: a sumptuous gathering over bubbly and brunch which features a fashion parade from high profile New Zealand designers and keynote address from a leading fashion icon.

Volunteering at the hospital
Starship hospital enjoys the help of volunteers who work along side hospital staff and go a long way to help and improve the care of patients and their families during their time in Starship.
